Mobile County Votes Early!

Believe it or not, Alabama's Presidential Preference Primary election day has been scheduled for February 5, 2008 - Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras Day.

Action on the part of the Mobile County Probate Court, other local elected officials, and community leaders resulted in special legistation approval to allow Mobile County to hold their election a week early - with regular voting at all polling places on Wednesday, January 30, 2008.

All registered voters in Mobile County should plan to cast their vote at their regular polling place on Wednesday, January 30th.

You will be receiving a postcard in the mail with your specific polling place listed. The postcard can be used as an acceptable form of identification.
Ballots cast on January 30 will be sealed until the statewide election is conducted.

If you can not vote on Early Voting Day
You can still vote on Feb. 5th!

Voters who will not be able to go to the polls on January 30th will still be able to cast a ballot on Mardi Gras Day (Feb. 5th) from 7 am until 7 pm at a SINGLE POLLING PLACE in Mobile County - The Office of the Revenue Commissioner, 3925 Michael Blvd. at Azalea Road.
